WAY is entirely volunteer led and receives no government funding to provide services to young bereaved people. With your help we can increase the services we offer and raise our profile so that more of the thousands of people who are widowed young each year will be able to find us.
There are several ways you can support WAY:

All WAY members pay £15 a year to join but we welcome any additional contribution you can afford to make.
We also welcome donations from non-members.
You can donate online via Justgiving - the quickest, easiest and most efficient way to donate to us. If you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving will automatically reclaim Gift Aid on your donation and forward it to us.

You could also ask people for donations to WAY instead of presents for a birthday, anniversary or other family occasion.
Or you could wear a black charity bracelet, or chariband, which you can buy from www.chariband.co.uk - some of the proceeds from each sale will go to WAY.
We now work with Justgiving, the award-winning online fundraising service that makes it really easy for you to raise money. On Justgiving, you can set up your own page to collect donations online from friends and family all over the world. They can sponsor you securely, quickly and easily with a credit or debit card.
You could also set up a fundraising page in memory of someone you have lost - a very special way to remember a loved one.
All money you raise will be gratefully received by WAY and we will use it to further our work with young widowed people.

Even though we are run by volunteers, we need funds to run our website, print promotional materials and publicise the work we do. It also costs money to train our volunteers who respond to newly-bereaved members. Every penny you can raise for WAY will be most appreciated - thank you for your time and effort.
If you would like to get involved in running a local group, organising a holiday or helping in any other way, we'd love to hear from you.
The WAY committee is always grateful for volunteers and if you have a particular skill you can share, or some free time, please do get involved!
